WE’RE ALL WALKING AROUND WITH IT!

In a day and age of new ailments, old regrets, fears of growing old and anticipation of growing up…our mind is turned upside down by fear and regret.
Suzie Humphreys really experienced this in early 2003 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. In nine days she had a mastectomy and was back on the road speaking to 900 dentists in Las Vegas.
Vowing to not let anything prevent her from keeping the appointment, she thought she’d be “superwoman” and just do it! What she did not count on was her total collapse when the presentation was over. She was exhausted, afraid and as she said …literally “hit the wall”.
She cried for a week, went through at least 10 boxes of Kleenex, slept when she wasn’t crying…….and then, came through the dark with an understanding that clearly helped her to find the compassion for those cancer survivors who had experienced much worse than she. In fact it helped her deepen her compassion for anyone going through their own “dark night of the soul”.
The crutch Suzie leaned on was “humor”. Using her speaking skills, she now helps people all over the country face their particular physical and psychological fears and demons…
After all she say’s “We All Walking Around with it!...... some pain, some resentment, some regret or grief that takes us down so deep that we finally” let go” and then, really begin to grow and heal.

Suzie Humphreys has been fired, been broke, been disappointed,
been a petrified expectant mother at 40 years old and lived her life
with a passion for learning not only how to be better, but to see
things differently.
She lifts, jolts and nurtures her audiences and they love
every minute of it! She makes them laugh until they swear they can't laugh anymore….then she "grabs" them again!
As a motivational and inspirational humorist, Suzie Humphreys got one of the longest standing ovations on record from the National Speakers Association
when she spoke to 2500 of her peers at their National Convention in Palm Springs, California. In 2002, Suzie was inducted into The Speaker Hall of Fame at their National Convention in Orlando and was awarded "The Council of Peers
Award of Excellence". In 2004, she was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame and, as Suzie says…"All that for a D minus student! You never know do you?"
Suzie's background is as varied as her audiences... from administrative secretary to Television Talk Show Host, to 20 years in radio. She has hobnobbed with movie stars and politicians, interviewed the great and the "near" great. She has made hundreds of commercials, done musical comedy and motion pictures. One of her greatest accomplishments is that she is a breast cancer survivor and helps other women go through the journey as she did.
All this experience has truly qualified Suzie to stand before any audience. Relaxed and excited to be there – not only to tell her amazing stories, but to share what she has learned from them.
